The average amount charged by performers who appear in various YouTube skits shot in Kumasi has been disclosed by Kumawood actor Oboy Siki.
On Peace FM’s Entertainment Review program, Oboy Siki informed Ola Michael that the degree of the person involved mostly determines the amount of money given.
He claimed that the majority of set PAs who occasionally get to shoot one or two sequences make at least GH100.00 every day.
Oboy Siki continued by stating that top celebrities receive at least GH1,500 or GH2,000 for each day spent on a film shoot.
He continued by saying that if the individual filming the skit is unfamiliar to the stars they wish to use in their production, these charges may vary or rise.
Oboy Siki responded to a question on how these payments are paid to the participants in the production by saying that the majority of producers of these skits pool the money and pay it all out to everyone once the shooting is through, which typically takes no longer than three days.
