The ups and downs in the case of the kidnapped Takoradi pregnant lady are becoming increasingly tense as time goes on.
According to the Regional Minister, the lady was never pregnant, and that she merely agreed to arrange her kidnapping in order to disrupt the calm mood that now exists in the Western Region.
The family has been rejected and has been sent directly to the Takoradi Hospital, where their relative has been undergoing anti-natal classes, in order to obtain documentation of their relative’s pregnancy.
Before that, photos had surfaced revealing that the lady was, in fact, expecting a child. In the two separate photographs that have been supplied, she should be shown to be extremely pregnant, as evidenced by her appearance in the pictures.
The comment made by the Regional Minister has enraged the lady’s husband, Edward Amoako Simons, as well as other members of her family.
They are perplexed as to why the Regional Minister would make such claims since physicians at the Takoradi Hospital have verified that their relative is pregnant and has been attending anti-natal for several months.
