New Mother Cries Out For Help, Says She Feels Like Leaving Her Newborn Baby – Video
People frequently believe that postpartum depression doesn’t occur or exist.
Sometimes moms are reluctant to speak out because they worry that if they do, they will be ridiculed and called “lazy.”
But a popular video posted by a new mother on TikTok @mimiunscripted has confirmed that postpartum depression does exist.
The newly born baby girl’s young mother described how her mental state deteriorated.
She was experiencing postpartum depression, which is depression that develops after childbirth and is characterized by worry, mood swings, crying bouts, and physical aches.
She said in a video that she had a phony grin on and had been mentally unstable ever since giving child.
The grieving mother said, “I’ve been screaming at my husband over any inconvenience and I’ve had intrusive thoughts about leaving my daughter and running away.”
The new mother bemoaned the messy state of her home despite her best efforts to clean it up and appealed for support from other mothers who had been through similar situations online.
