Netizen blast Yaw Tog for saying “Hello” to his so-called haters
Yaw Tog, a Kumerican rapper, has been trolled for discreetly referring to the Asakaa guys as his haters.
Tweeps have questioned Yaw Tog’s statement at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) as the winner of the hip-hop song of the year.
To win the honor, the young, enthusiastic drill musician beat off known artists, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Eno Barony, and others, who competed in the same category of hip-hop song of the year.
However, Yaw Tog’s remarks during the award presentation have sparked a lot of debate among netizens, who believe he might have done better.
Yaw Tog was anticipated to at least address his previous music group during his statement, as an artist who rose to popularity from the camp of the ‘Asakaa guys’ after his hit song Sore.
However, as his motto suggests, ‘The Young Bull’ began by thanking his followers and Kumericans. He finished with a shout-out to his detractors, which netizens believe was a dig at the Asakaa guys.
According to one @Opresii on Twitter, Yaw Tog is sprouting horns, and he may not receive another big song after Sore.
