Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has finally addressed the persistent rumors surrounding her husband, Maxwell Mensah, allegedly subjecting her to domestic violence.
These rumors, which have been circulating for some time, resurfaced recently when an audio clip went viral, purportedly of a male voice claiming that McBrown had suffered an arm injury due to physical abuse.
However, McBrown has firmly denied these allegations, stating that her husband does not mistreat her.
“Do I look like a lady who husband will beat her? Or do you think such a thing (abuse) can happen in my house? I’m not a lady who will allow herself to be beaten by her husband,”
During an episode of her show, McBrown expressed her frustration with the dissemination of fake news and revealed that even her mother had reached out to her seeking clarification on the matter.
“My mother once called me to enquire if my husband had truly beaten me because she heard the rumour online,”
