Iona, who used to be Mzbel’s goddaughter, has accused the famous singer and businesswoman of having affairs outside of her marriage.
Two years ago, Iona and Mzbel lost contact with one another. However, the two women were so close that when they parted ways, Mzbel, there were suspicions that they might have been lesbians. Sadly, the relationship deteriorated.
Unfortunately, Mzbel came up to reveal the real reason why their relationship went so well in an interview with Nana Romeo of Accra FM after Iona had given reasons for leaving Mzbel’s side.
Mzbel said Iona was really talented, so she decided to take her home and help her.
She reportedly wanted to sign Iona but discovered that she was already working with a label. As a result, she made the decision to help Iona as much as she could, as the latter regarded her as a mentor and mother. Iona lied in an interview by saying that she paid for her video, but Mzbel revealed that she was the one who provided the funding for it.
Iona claimed in a live video on her Facebook page that Mzbel had distributed false information about her in an effort to damage her reputation, but she was always willing to reveal Mzbel’s identity.
Iona dared Mzbel to publicly refute the claims that she was having affairs with powerful men and politicians. She said that Mzbel had affairs with powerful men for money and other things.
