“My parents gave me a useless name without meaning”- Lasmid
Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, commonly known as Lasmid, is the singer of the popular song “Friday Night,” and he has spoken about the significance of his real name and stage persona.
He asserts that despite not knowing what the name signified, his parents nonetheless gave him the name Lasmid.
His name Lasmid is a prime example of how his parents enjoy naming his wards in ways that they themselves do not understand.
He continued by saying that neither he nor anybody else he knew had the same name, and he was likewise unaware of its meaning.
Lasmid said this during an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show.
