“My new artist is better than Kuami Eugene, Never compare them” – Ebony’s father Starboy Kwarteng
Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of late Ghanaian songstress Priscilla Opuku Kwarteng also known as Ebony Reigns, has warned fans not to compare his artist Summer Rains to Kidi and Kuami Eugene.
He stated that people are attempting to defame his artist by comparing KIDI and Kuami Eugene to her.
Nana Opuku Kwarteng was interviewed by Michael Agyapong Agyepa and stated that if they believe he is lying, they should compare Summer Rains and testify for themselves.
“Don’t even think about comparing these two to Summer Rains; he’s better than any other artist right now.” You can listen to his song to see for yourself. “Kuami Eugene and KiDi are not close to summer,” he explained.
He continued to criticize DJs who chose to play old musician’s songs rather than new artist’s songs.
He went on to say that DJs should start playing songs from the summer and see how Ghanaians react to them.
“Ghanaians do not support new talent; if you’ve been listening to Summer songs, you wouldn’t dare to compare the two.” I blame the media, particularly the DJs. “All you have to do is play Summer’s song and see how Ghanaians react.”
