Joyce Mensah’ has “barred” sarkodie from participating in any award program that would be organized in the future by Dr. UN.
Joyce Mensah has told the artist Sarkodie that he can’t take part in any award program that her husband, Dr. UN, will be in charge of in the future.
Sarkodie has been left out of the award program that was set up in honor of Kofi Annan by the wife of Dr. UN, who is known for setting up the controversial UN Awards.
Joyce Mensah claims that she told her husband not to give any awards to Sarkodie because he was ungrateful based on his reaction to the 2020 awards when some people on social media questioned the credibility of the award scheme.
She told her husband this because she saw Sarkodie’s reaction to the 2020 awards when some people on social media questioned the credibility of the award.
Sarkodie went so far as to write a song in which he addresses the fact that he used to believe he was a tough guy until Dr. UN gave him an empty bottle as a trophy and that he wouldn’t mind hitting him if he ever caught up with him.
This particular lyric from the song titled “Give me way” has really gotten under Dr. UN’s skin to the point where he has relayed his irritation over it to his wife, Joyce Mensah.
Joyce Mensah has stated that from this point on, she will decide who is deserving of the award and that Sarkodie will not be eligible to receive one.
