Nana Yaa Brefo has revealed that her divorce was caused by emotional abuse in her marriage.
During a discussion about domestic abuse, radio broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo revealed what led to her divorce.

On Neat Fm, the Angel Fm host chatted and confessed that her spouse emotionally tortured her during their marriage.

According to Nana Yaa Brefo, her husband never physically assaulted her, but what she went through in the marriage was far more agonizing.

She said that her son’s father emotionally abused her in the first year of their marriage, forcing her to leave.

“Women opt to stay in abusive marriages because of the cultural and societal stigma connected with divorce”- she added
