‘My Family is proud of me; that’s what matters the most. ‘ – Asamoah Gyan to social media trolls

Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, Popularly known as Bay Jet has reacted to social media users who are currently trolling him as they reflect back to the 2010 world cup.

according to the trolls, today 2 July is exactly a decade when Baby Jet missed the penalty against  Uruguay denying ghana of the Semi-Final of the 2010 south Africa World cup.

these trolls took to social media in sharing funny videos that mimic the exact situation where he missed the penalty while others also tagged him in tweets.

reacting to the trolls in a tweet, the renowned footballer claimed that he is not moved by the troll as he knows the nature of people; people will never celebrate your achievement but only your failures.

he however stressed that non of the trolls can bring him down because before one can bring him down the fellow must reach him first.

“We celebrate failures more than achievements. Me di33 I dey my corner dey enjoy myself. My family is very proud of me. That’s what matters to me the most” Asamoah Gyan tweeted.
