A proud mother of a three-year-old girl appeared on Episode 10 of the popular Ghanaian reality show Date Rush and told a touching story that moved the audience to tears.
Lovelyn, the lady on the show, wore an outfit with a picture of herself and the child she had with her ex-husband on it.
Lovelyn took a deep breath and replied, “What happened to the child’s father?”
Lovelyn didn’t go into specifics about what happened between her and the man, but her actions on the show suggested that he was a physically abusive partner.
When the time came to ask the gentleman she was interested in a question, Lovelyn wanted to make sure Robert wasn’t being abusive as she inquired:
The responsible and hardworking single mother ended up going on a date with a gentleman named Robert, who appeared to be responsible and hardworking as well.
Another intriguing aspect of Lovelyn’s story was when she revealed that her worst first date experience was when the man said he could see his ex in her.
