“My 80 years old mother mistakenly set my house ablaze”- Beverly Afaglo narrates what happened (video)

On Monday, August 9, 2021, a fire devastated Beverly Afaglo’s house and destroyed all of its contents, leaving her with nothing to salvage.

The actress broke the terrible news to her Instagram fans with a series of videos depicting the devastation left by the four-hour-long fire.

Beverly Afaglo reported that everything in her house was burned to ashes, including furniture, utensils, purses, shoes, clothes, jewelry, and other fashion goods.

Questions arose quickly in response to the videos, with many people wondering how the fire originated.

Beverly Afaglo recalled the events of the incident in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM this afternoon.

The fire started in their backyard, where her 80-year-old mother has a tiny garden, according to the actress. Her mother had gone behind the house to burn some weeds and had returned when she was done.

There was apparently a small fire behind the smoke that eventually flared and devoured the house.

Beverly stated that she was in town when she received a call saying her home had caught fire.

When she arrived home, the house was completely engulfed in flames, with no way to go inside to save anything, but her cousin was able to get their two cars out before the fire spread.
