A few days after burying his best buddy, Ghanaian player Mubarak Wakaso, who was Christian Atsu’s closest friend who perished in the earthquake in Turkey, uploaded a photo of himself working out.
The Black Stars player thanked Ghanaians in the depressing images, which have drawn a lot of comments from soccer fans, for their support during this trying time of his life.
He claimed that after losing Christian Atsu, who was a greater part of him, he was finally coming to terms with reality. He also said goodbye to his close friend and wished Atsu serenity.
When Ghanaians reacted to the photographs, they expressed their sympathies with him and wished him luck in overcoming his grief and continuing his late friend’s legacy.
