The death tolls in our various senior high schools have risen of late and it seems less has been done in seeing to this serious issue.
just yesterday 15th July 2020, another final year student of the Gwiraman SHS in the Nzema East District identified as Nathaniel Yankey passed away after late medical attention. however, It is not yet known what caused his death.
The mother of 21-year-old Nathaniel, Mena Adjoa Esson has opened up on her son’s death and she is blaming the school authorities for the demise of her son.
according to Mrs. Esson, her son had not been well for a while but the school authorities failed to grant him permission to come home in seeking medical attention on time despite numerous requests to the authorities.
She accused them of negligence and lack of care which she said led to the death of her son.
