The security agencies’ recordings show that she was creeping into the mother’s room to talk with her while everyone assumed she had been kidnapped. Between the time of her kidnapping and the time she was discovered, her mother is said to have spoken to her several times. The ransom was paid at this point by the Regional Minister. Mr. Justice Acquah, a regional minister’s aide, announced on his official Facebook page that the lady’s mother had been arrested. He is urging the people to refrain from exacerbating the problem.
