Lere Olayinka, a Nigerian who served as the former media assistant to former Governor Fayose, has publicly criticized the mother of the late singer Mohbad.
According to Olayinka, the mother abandoned her two kids in the care of their father and did not come back for more than fifteen years.
The only thing that is known about her early life is that her name is Ms. Promise Aloba. Other than that, not much else is known.
It is said that she abandoned her children at a young age, forcing her husband to raise their children on his own.
The media assistant, Lere Olayinka, recently turned to social media to express her disapproval of the late musician Ilerioluwa, aka Mohbad’s mother.
According to Olayinka, MohBad’s mother left him and his sister for 15 years before reappearing when the news of the ‘Peace’ singer became public. Olayinka made this accusation in one of her tweets.
According to some other stories, she was only gone from them for a period of ten years, and they had already reconciled just before he met an unfortunate end.
Lere placed the blame for the boy’s death on the mother, saying, “And the same woman is receiving condolences on a child who died partly because the mother who should have helped to make him a better person abandoned him for 15 years.” Lere was pointing the finger at the woman.
Many people believe that her absence from her child’s early upbringing may have been a contributing factor in the development of his current, unguided lifestyle.
Ms. Promise Aloba has lately come up and made her first statement regarding the passing of her son, in which she claims that his passing was not a natural one.
She continued by saying that her son had a habit of telling her about the dangers in his life and how he intended to resolve everything amicably all by himself.
