Military Officer Shoots A Motor Rider At COVID-19 Checkpoint For Using Unapproved Route – Photos


Reports coming from the Nsawam Adoagyir Municipality of the Eastern Region indicates that a 50-year-old motor rider has been shot by a military officer on safety duties for allegedly using an unapproved route at a barrier at Dobro.


according to reports, the motor rider refused to stop when several signs were given to him the military men as he attempted to use the unapproved route.
and according to the Military officer, the motor rider jumped a bamboo barricade at the barrier where exactly the security officers were doing road checks where he nearly ran into some officers there.
The military man in an attempt to shoot the motor rider aimed at the tire of his motor and shot it.


the unidentified motor rider then fell off from the motor and has some injuries which he was rushed to the Nsawam Government Hospital for treatment.
well, according to the Nsawam Divisional Police Commander, Sup. Marian Adu-Osei, the motor rider said he failed brake that is why he couldn’t stop when the officers signal him to.
the police have since started an investigations on the matter.
