Legendary Ghanaian footballer Michael Essien has emerged the richest footballer in Ghanaian according to raking by South African website, Soccerladuma.
the ranking which was focused on the top 10 African Richest Footballers In History saw two Ghanain professionals being ranked as former black stars captain Asamoah Gyan also made the list.
The 2012 Champions League winner is estimated net worth is around $32 million and was ranked the 9th overall while Asamoah Gyan is worth $30 million.
Meanwhile, Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto’o emerged top of the list which saw the players in the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah, Yaya Toure, John Obi Mikel, and many others.

Asamoah Gyan born 22 November 1985 in Ghana, began his career in 2003 with Ghanaian Premier League club Liberty Professionals scoring ten goals in sixteen matches.
