Angry customers of the now-defunct gold dealership Menzgold have petitioned President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to arrest the CEO of the institution, Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM 1.
The group compares NAM1 to internet scammers and advises against engaging with him on any payment arrangements.
This comes after Menzgold management released a statement claiming to have completed the transaction validation process and promising to start paying customers soon.
The customer representatives, led by Fredrick Forson, argue that NAM 1 should be swiftly punished and arrested, as they believe the statement is deceptive and resembles the language of scammers.
“Nobody should engage him and that is what we are saying because of that document he brought out. What we want the government to do is to arrest him. What is contained in that document is simply the language of scammers, and we will want the government to arrest him.”
Despite Menzgold’s assurance, the angry customers vehemently reject the claim and demand NAM 1’s arrest.
