Serwaa Amihere, 31, responds to a blogger who believes her life is incomplete without a husband.
Broacasters from Ghana Serwaa Amihere claims that marriage is not the most important part of one’s life.
According to her, there are more important things in life to focus on, but a 31-year-old woman who is already single need not be a huge deal.
This was the GHOne TV host’s response to those who chastised her for not marrying. Serwaa Amihere’s 31st birthday was on March 8, 2021, and she got a stream of these comments.
Serwaa Amihere said she prefers to be single and unmarried than hurry into an unhappy marriage, taking a screenshot of one of the comments under a news portal post on Facebook where one social media user asked her when she will give birth, particularly while she is still unmarried.
She wrote: Everyday go and marry! As though it’s the most important thing in life. You’ll be pushing women to end up in unhappy and abusive marriages. Smh
Serwaa Amihere received a message after this article from a blogger who said that everything she has acquired and done is worthless before she marries.
What shall it profit a woman if she gain everything in life without husband? A woman’s glory is her husband.. be there let the world deceive ‘ the blogger wrote
Serwaa Amihere was evidently offended by the blogger’s remark and urged him to stop pretending that marriage is a woman’s honor.
‘You shouldn’t be a blogger with this mindset.’ serwaa replied.
