According to sad news from Nigeria, a man who had just been married for a month took his own life for no apparent reason.
The man who supposedly married his wife in Amaigbo, Nwangele LGA, Imo State, was shown in a viral video with his wife getting sprayed with dollar bills by a rich man who stole one of the notes he wiped their faces with away on the day of their wedding.
“He was my cousin,” his cousin said when asked about the incident. He and his wife, whom he married in January, lived in Aba, Abia State.
He put an end to it all exactly two weeks ago, right after supper with his wife. He never expressed any concern or complained about anything.
He simply entered the home, locked himself in his room, and h#ng himself. As I write this, he is still at the mortuary. He’s the groom in the viral video in which a man cleans his and his wife’s faces with a $1 bill after spraying.”
