Man stabs and k!lls his landlord for separating a fight with his wife

The Nigerian Police Force detained Patrick Essien, a middle-aged man, for allegedly killing his landlord with a knife in Rumuiprikon, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

According to Punch, the landlord, known as Iheanyichukwu America, was stabbed during an altercation while attempting to rescue Essien’s wife from him.

Essien was pulling his wife into their residence, according to the landlord’s wife, Chioma America, even after her husband intervened.

She stated that Iheanyichukwu told her that he would not let his tenant’s wife sleep in that residence that night in order to prevent more attacks by her husband.

“He (Essien) attempted to drag the wife inside with him. But my husband stated he wasn’t going to let him. “He was still inside the house when my husband said that because of the situation, he would not allow the woman to sleep in their house,” Mrs. America explained.

“She should stay at my husband’s family home, and we’ll decide what to do in the morning.” So he evicted the mother from their home.”

“Then, around midnight, the man came to attack my husband while he was on his way to see if his wife was in our house, but she wasn’t.” He met my husband, and he now launched the attack on him instead of his wife.

Similarly, the landlord’s elder sister, Gladys Bardey, expressed regret over the tenant’s actions, stating that the case should be brought to court to ensure justice.
