Fear of being associated with a cyber fraudster and being labeled a criminal has forced a man to report his best friend to the authorities for amassing too much wealth too quickly.
A man named Selzing published this strange but genuine story on the social networking platform Twitter.
According to his story, the young guy complained to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) – a Nigerian law enforcement organization that investigates financial crimes such as fraud and money laundering – that his friend’s sudden fortune was strange.
He described how the rich young guy, who had been reported to the police, used to donate money to his envious friend in order to provide for himself and his family.
However, the jealous friend was dissatisfied with the money he was receiving and decided to submit him to the authorities for investigation.
