A good samaritan who, out of compassion, made it a point to save a bird stranded on a high tension wire died unnecessarily when the high voltage cables electrocuted him.
He felt the electricity flow through him, throwing him from the air to the earth, while saving the poor bird from the high tension wires with a stick in his hand.
Onlookers raced to his side after seeing what had transpired, only to find him still on the floor.
