A Nigerian man is quickly becoming a topic of discussion on the internet after he married twin sisters in a spectacular wedding ceremony on the same day.
Some photos from the wedding ceremony that have been made public on the internet show the man sitting with his two wives flanking him on both his left and right-hand sides.
This is extremely unusual because, in a traditional African environment, it is forbidden for a single guy to marry two women from the same family, let alone have twins of his own. Twins are also frowned upon.
Many people on the internet who have seen the wedding images have expressed their opinion that the man has committed a terrible sin, and as a result, he must either divorce both of the women or just one of them in order to avoid the disaster that is sure to befall him in the near future.
The families of the newlyweds’ have also been subjected to public ridicule because of the scandal. Many people who disagree still find it hard to believe that the people in question agreed to something so disgusting.
