A Ghanaian man has written a sad account of love, betrayal, and expulsion. The nameless guy said that, although he had come to the UK in search of better opportunities, he had not entered the country legitimately.
Despite having no legal status, the guy was able to bring his wife to the UK to join him. Things changed drastically when his wife discovered he didn’t have the right documents to be in the country.
The guy’s wife began seeing another man who had legal status in the United Kingdom, which is a painful betrayal.
The husband said that he was distressed when he discovered his wife’s adultery and confronted her about it. He was startled and outraged when his wife while working with her new boyfriend, reported him to the police, who deported him back to Ghana.
The man’s situation becomes even worse when he reveals that his wife and her new partner flew to Ghana and married barely two months after his deportation. After being left to pick up the pieces of his ruined life, the guy has resorted to driving a trotro from Dansoman to Ashaiman to make ends meet.
