Mampong Murder: “I sậcrificed my sister for rїtuals because Life was treating me badly”
Ritual slaughter is becoming increasingly frequent in the country, as easy as murdering a bird. A 33-year-old lady was recently found murdered in Asante Mampong Kyeremfaso.
People in the village were terrified when they discovered a dead body the next day because such things don’t happen there.
Four people have been apprehended for the murder. According to Omono Asamoah of Hello.FM, Yaw Sarpong, 37, is the late Akosua Nyantakyiwaa’s brother who decided to use another channel to earn rich.
He went to a fetish priest named Kofi Boateng to ask for help because he is poor. The fetish priest did not hesitate to help him but only on one condition.
He informed Yaw Sarpong he can’t help him unless he delivers him human blood. Yaw Sarpong looked around and found her sister.
He gave the fetish priest Akosua Nyantakyiwaa’s name. Kofi Boateng realized his power couldn’t achieve the magic so he went to another ‘mallam’ Inusah Yakubu.
Inusah Yakubu told them that Akosua was cursed and they must soothe her before she can succeed in life. That’s when they may take this innocent lady’s life.
The four accused are Yaw Sarpong, Kofi Boateng, the fetish priest, Inusah Yakubu, the mallam, and Kwaku Poku.
This tragic event has shocked the residents of Mampong Municipality. Congratulations to the Mampong Municipality Commander of Police, Stephen Boadu, and his team for bringing them to justice.
The process of arraigning them in court is underway.
