Lydia Alhassan, the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West constituency has recently taken to social media to mourn his late husband, Emmanuel Boakye Agyarko, two years after his death.
The widow, together with her children and her brother in law the former energy minister [Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko], visited the graveyard of her late husband who died while still serving as MP for his constituency.
Emmanuel Boakye’s death was sudden and it left Madam Lydia Alhassan no choice but to take up the mantle of MP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
Sharing the photos from their visit on Instagram, the lawmaker said her late husband whom she stated is in Paradise, “remain our hero who’s memory we shall forever Cherish”.
Emotional Lydia Alhassan continued that “The Children and the rest of the family pray you rest peacefully in the bosom of your maker.”
