“Leave my name out” – Stonebwoy warns Mr. Drew on live radio – audio
Ghanaian Dancehall Artiste, Stonebwoy has clarified, he never Knew the song he featured Mr. Drew was stolen as speculating by most Ghanaians and Mr. Drew himself.
Recently, Mr. Drew’s song ‘Eat’ which he featured Stonebwoy was reported to all streaming sites to be taken down because of copyright from Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’.
Following this shameful incident, he was granted interviews to give Ghanaians insights on what actually happened. in one of his interviews, he claimed the dancehall artiste Knew the song was stolen when asked.
StoneBwoy on the other hand has come out finally to watch off any stain Mr, Drew has caused to his image.
Stonebwoy cleared the impression created by Mr. Drew earlier, that he (Stonebwoy) had foreknowledge that his remake, ‘Eat’ was from Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’.
According to Stonebwoy in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he only offered to help Mr. Drew when he first sighted the Song on his Instagram page which he claimed to be his.
He revealed that he never knew the song was the same both the beat and rhythm to the Love Riddim of Rotimi until his younger brother revealed to him. He added that when he informed Mr. Drew, he said he was making changes to turn it to his cover not Knowing he did not.
adding he only got to know there were no changes made to the song after he sent out his verse to Mr. Drew and his management.
