part of social media has been hit with this sad news of the death of this lady identified as Dorcas Jepkemoi Chumba who dies on a date with her fiance’.
Dorcas,33, died after she fell into a dam while posing for a picture on the date with one Benjamin Kazungu, at Chepkiit Waterfalls in Nandi County, Kenya.
She was swept away by raging waters on Sunday after all attempts made by Mr Kazungu to save her were fruitless. and the saddest thing is her body has not been recovered yet.
The family of the lady has since requested the county government to help in retrieving the body of the deceased.
“The tragedy indeed took place and we have come to accept that Chumba is no more. We are, however, requesting for help to retrieve the body and give her a befitting send-off,” the deceased’s brother Victor Kiptoo pleaded.
