Lady cancels wedding with lavish boyfriend after seeing his mother selling vegetables in the market (Full Stroy)
A Twitter user known as @ruleyourspace describes how she canceled a wedding with her fiance after seeing his mother’s pitiful condition.
This lad, she claims, buys a lot of drinks for strangers and spends a lot of money on his friends, but his mother sells vegetables at the market.
She went on to say that she was fortunate to marry a man who treats his mother better and that her mother-in-law has been a sweet soul who is loved by all.
She penned:
“I canceled a wedding with my ex a few years ago because he took me to see his parents in Ejigbo.” He was from Lekki. Buys drinks for complete strangers and spends millions on friends, but your mother still sells ugwu on the side of the road? Unfinished zinc house Look after your parents.
This man informed me that he was working on some issues and would take care of them. Some of my friends were like, “How is it your business?” but my mother supported me wholeheartedly. It was not easy, but God was with me until I met my husband today; see how they care for their mother, e dey sweet me die. My mother is now late, and my mother-in-law is a lovely lady. Her children and grandchildren adore her.
A man who does not care about his parents should not be in your company, ladies. If he does not love his mother, chances are he will treat you the same way when he grows tired of you. And to those who say this is a lie, you should double-check yourself. Are you saying that Nigerian women cannot cancel a wedding if they notice some irredeemable flaw in the man?”
