Lady blasts the Catholic church for sacking her from the cathedral because of her indecent dressing (photo)
A young woman from Nairobi, Kenya, who is a member of the Roman Catholic Church, was recently embarrassed for wearing inappropriate clothing to church.
Julia, a regular attendee at the church, was described as a woman in her mid-twenties.
She arrived at church wearing a black sleeveless dress, a yellow belt, and high heels at 8:30 a.m. on a fateful Sunday morning.
A woman and a guy from the ushering department approached her and warned her that her attire was inappropriate for a religious service. They told her to go home and change into something more appropriate.
“Two people, a lady and a man, told me that my sort of clothing was prohibited in church and that I needed to change into something more appropriate.”
Julia remarked on Facebook, “If churches treat people this way, we will avoid going to church.”
She rushed to Facebook to vent her anger with the scandal, claiming that other women in little skirts and spaghetti tops are still allowed to attend large churches in the city without being sent home.
