The lady in the video was grieving at the burial of the late Reverend Father Bernard Kofi Ackon.
The lady in the video has been found in Saltpond, Ghana. Her name is Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson. She explained why she jumped into the grave that day.
She said that Father Bernard was like a father to her. He helped her with her problems and supported her with prayers and money. She helped him by cleaning his chapel.
Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson said that Father Bernard helped take care of her father when he was alive. When her father passed away, Father Bernard continued to support her.
He helped her navigate life after she was jilted by her first lover who had promised her marriage. She said that Father Bernard played a very important role in her life.
After Father Bernard passed away, Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson was so distraught that she wanted to follow him to the grave.
She even told one of the sisters at the burial. However, she had no intention of jumping into the grave. She said that something just came over her.
After the video went viral, Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson had to confront people who called her “Father Bernard.” She said that Father Bernard was so good to her and helped her through life after her broken heart. She couldn’t stand the fact that he had died and had to do something sentimental in his memory.
