Sista Afia seems to be angry with some Ghanaian music fans and tweeps who have been targeting top performers for failing to win a single award at the recently concluded 63rd Grammy Awards.
The fact that Burna Boy and Wizkid have received awards at the 2021 Grammys, while no Ghanaian was recognised, has enraged most Ghanaian music fans.
Sista Afia said in a live video on Instagram that music fans who are attacking Ghana’s top musicians should give them a break because they are doing their best.
Sista Afia added, “It seems that Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah, cursed the country with the spirit of hate and not loving one another, which is why there is so much hatred in the country.”
She warned her followers who were bothering her about the Grammys to stay away from all of her posts because none of their families had ever won a Grammy or even traveled abroad.
