Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Neglected My Pregnant Wife and Unborn Baby to die – Husband Tears Up
A young man has shared the sad experienced his pregnant wife went through at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital that led to the death of both the mother and the unborn child.
Bestshowbiz.com had an interaction with the man identified as Atta Kakra and he disclosed that his wife who is Identified as Sandra was a nurse and was referred from Dunkwa government hospital to Komfo Anokye on Thursday, 29 July 2021, where she was admitted to ward A5.
He claimed that doctors confirmed the baby had died in the womb on Sunday, 1st August 2021, but they left her till she died on Wednesday, 4th August 2021 while the baby was still in her womb.
He explained that:
“I and my wife told the Midwife on duty on Sunday that the baby wasn’t responding, on Monday morning doctors came to confirm in front of my wife and i that the baby was dead in her womb, untill she died on Wednesday morning nothing was done about her situation”.
From a Facebook post made by the husband identified as Atta Kakra, the baby was still in his wife’s womb even when she died up until 06/08/2021 that the baby was removed at the mortuary.
his post reads;
“KOMFO ANOKYE TEACHING HOSPITAL NEGLECTED MY PREGNANT WIFE FROM THURSDAY 29/07/2021 WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE WITH REFERRAL,AND SHE WAS TAKEN TO THE WARD TILL SUNDAY 01/08/2021 9pm WHEN THE BABY DIED IN THE WOMB, THE BABY REMAIN IN THE WOMB TILL WEDNESDAY 04/08/2021 AND THE MOTHER TOO DIED.TILL TODAY 06/08/2021 THAT THE BABY HAVE BEEN REMOVED AT THE MUTUAL”.
This is what most people are going through and it’s very sad.
He also added a video from the hospital that shows him interviewing the patients who were also in the same ward with his wife. but for some reason, the video has been held for now.
