Following Ayesem’s outcry that his colleague and tribesman Kofi Kinaata had passed him up for a collaboration, Article Wan has told him it’s time to move on and quit whining about it.
He further stated that Kinaata is not God and that he cannot guarantee him a hit song. Remember when Ayesem told ConnectFM’s Nana Adwoa Arthur that despite reaching out to Kinaata multiple times for a feature, he never bothered to offer him a verse?
In response, Article Wan informed Christian Agyei Frimpong of Onua FM that Anigye Mmere being overlooked by other artists is a frequent occurrence in the industry, and that he should pick himself up and go on.
“Me, if you send me a song and I don’t feel, I don’t feel. People have sent me songs, I didn’t do. And I’ve also sent songs to artistes, and they didn’t even reply. It’s part of the game. If that thing happens, Ayesem, I’m telling you, just forget about Kinaata and do your thing. Kofi Kinaata is not God. Kinaata is good, same as you. He’s got hit songs and you as well,” Article Wan advised Ayesem.
Article Wan is also displeased with Ayesem’s demeanor in the preceding, since his words convey a picture of bad blood between them (he and Kofi Kinaata).
“So if you keep on talking about this issue, you make it look like there is a problem between the two of you. Don’t create problems for Kofi Kinaata. Forget him and do your thing,” he concluded.
