Kofi Kinaata, the reigning Highlife Songwriter of the Year, brought tears to his fans’ eyes at a recent concert.
Kinaata was entertaining guests at an occasion thought to be a funeral thanksgiving with a live band performance of his songs.
The ecstatic audience was recording him while singing the hit song word for word, which led the singer to grow emotional.
It wasn’t long until tears streamed down his cheeks as he reflected on the huge outpouring of affection that had interrupted his performance.
Guests consoled him before escorting him to his seat.
