Kofi Adoma shares the story of a young SHS graduate who had 7A’s but is carrying blocks for a living
Despite passing his examinations with flying colors, a young Senior High School graduate has reduced himself to carrying cement blocks for a profession.
The boy, who graduated from Ofori Panyin SHS, received 7 As and a B in the 2019 WASSCE, but he is unable to attend university due to financial constraints.
After musician Barima Sydney provided them the results slip of the boy, Kofi TV went to his construction site to interview him.
The child told Kofi TV that his father is gravely ill and has been bedridden, leaving his mother, who sells fish, to care for the family alone.
To assist his mother, he relocated to a nearby construction site, where the foreman pays all ten workmen 200 cedis each day as a daily wage.
