Kidnapper confesses to kidnapping his own mother-in-law and others after His Arrested
Bunmi Ogunremi, 49, a notorious suspected kidnapper, has been arrested by police in Ado-Ekiti for kidnapping several people in the state, including his own mother-in-law.
Police arrested Ogunremi, aka Bunmi Bafon, a native of Ado-Ekiti, along with their food supplier and an informant, a vulcanizer.
The suspects confessed to the crime and said they were the ones who kidnapped Alhaji Sulaimon Akinbami, a prominent petroleum dealer, in Ureje, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti.
They also admitted to committing numerous kidnappings in the states of Ekiti and Ondo.
Ogunremi, who is from Ado and speaks Yoruba, confessed to kidnapping his own mother-in-law when questioned.
he said;
”The first job I ever did was that of Akinbami who owns a filling station. The second one is a woman. The third one was in Akure. The fourth one was my mother-in-law”
