Kevin Taylor Heavily Blast Empress Gifty for Mocking Piesie Esther’s Defeat In New Video – Watch
Recently, the VGMA24 awards ceremony took place in Ghana. Two musicians, Black Sherif, and Piesie Esther, were considered top contenders for the Artist of the Year award.
Piesie Esther is a gospel musician who had the support of the Christian community. However, Black Sherif ended up winning the award.
After the announcement of Black Sherif’s victory, gospel singer Empress Gifty posted a tweet that said, “I need a new TABLE tomorrow.” Some people, including journalist Kevin Taylor, believe that this tweet was a direct jab at Piesie Esther and her defeat.
Kevin Taylor, a Ghanaian journalist based in the United States, harshly criticized Empress Gifty for her tweet.
He accused her of mocking Piesie Esther and called her out for being a gospel musician who acts like a “harlot.” Taylor’s criticism was especially harsh because Empress Gifty is the wife of Hopeson Adorye, a member of the ruling NPP party in Ghana.
