Kennedy Agyapong donates money to Imoro Sherif’s family

Kennedy Agyapong, a member of parliament and prospective NPP flagbearer, has given money to the family of Imoro Sherif, a soldier who was killed in action.

Kennedy Agyapong visited the family at their Ashiaman Zongo Laka residence this morning to offer their condolences, along with Ashiaman Member of Parliament Ernest Norgbey and other officials.

The politician pledged to support the younger brother of the slain soldier’s education in addition to making a donation to the late soldier’s family.

The slain soldier’s name will be used to commemorate the Astroturf that will be built in Ashaiman and named for him, according to Kennedy Agyapong.

The late Imoro Sherif was killed on March 4 while returning home to see his mother after visiting a friend in the Ashaiman suburb of Official Town.

According to a police statement, six people have been taken into custody in relation to the murder.

According to the police report, the suspects attacked him in an attempt to steal his phone, but instead they fatally stabbed him. This was described as a robbery gone wrong.

They have already made their initial court appearance, and they will do so again on March 27, 2023, to answer the charges brought against them.

The deceased’s family has pleaded with the authorities to ensure that those responsible for the act are apprehended and brought to justice.

In other news, some friends of the late Imoro Sherif will hold a fundraiser on March 19, 2023, to help the soldier’s family as well.
