Despite sharing a house with her spouse, Xandy Karmel, a prominent Ghanaian actress and socialite, has sadly recalled being sex-deprived.
When Xandy brazenly demanded sex or made the first move, she said she was constantly turned down.
Xandy Kamel and her ex-husband Kaninja had a rough marriage, with the guy accusing her of adultery.
Xandy said that she was married to an emotionally unavailable man and that she and her husband lived as strangers.
“Having sex is a struggle for us. I can’t get it even if I ask. I can count how many times my husband and I had sex together. We were married but I was sex-deprived.” She told Kwaku Manu.
“Is it up to 20? Kwaku Manu asked.
“I’d be glad if it was,” Xandy responded.
“I ignored the warning signs. Things would get better, but they never did. My parents kept encouraging me, so I stayed blindly in that toxic marriage.”
“I’ve learnt a lot of things including how to take care of myself. I’ve also grown in self-acceptance. First, I’ve learned not to ignore warning signs.” she added
