Kanayo O. Kanayo Denies Practicing Money Ritual In Real Life.

Kanayo O. Kanayo, Veteran Nigerian actor has recently dismissed rumours suggesting his involvement in real-life money rituals, attributing them to his numerous roles in occult-themed movies. This revelation was made during an interview with Afia TV, where Kanayo addressed the negative perception he has garnered over the years.

The accomplished actor, who has also transitioned into law, shared that he has been labelled “Nnanyi Sacrifice”, a nickname he swiftly rejected. This moniker, according to Kanayo, was ascribed to him during the funeral of Obi Cubana’s mother.

“Once you start rejecting a name, it tends to stick,” Kanayo explained. Despite his initial rejection, the tag “Nnanyi Sacrifice” persisted. However, the actor stressed he is not perturbed by such nicknames as long as he is paid for his work, stating, “Call me any name you like, but pay me my cheque.”

Kanayo also took the opportunity to condemn the practice of money rituals, describing it as detrimental and insisting he has never participated in it. He emphasized, “Money ritual is not good and will never be good. I will never be part of it and have never been part of it.”

Through his statement, Kanayo hopes to change societal perceptions and further his reputation as an actor and lawyer, rather than a character in his movies.
