Naira Marley, the owner of Marlians Records, has been in the spotlight after the death of Mohbad, a previous signer, on Tuesday, September 12th.
Following the fracas, a video emerged showing fans of the Mohbad guys ascending and wreaking mayhem at Naira Marley’s apartment in Lekki, Nigeria.
The video also showed a piece of the house being set on fire, with followers chanting and looking for explanations in the aftermath of Imole’s death.
Mohbad was signed to Marlian Records, but owing to disputes between his supervisor and himself, he struggled to quit the label, which started his nightmares.
Videos released after his death show him being molested, threatened, beaten, and harassed throughout his final days.
Fingers were pointed at Naira Marley immediately after the news surfaced due to the two’s bad history and also statements Mohbad made while he was alive claiming that Naira Marley should be held responsible if anything happened to him.
