John Mahama’s son Shafik weds in Dubai

The first son of former president Mahama, Shafik Mahama has reportedly gotten married to his long time girlfriend in a glamourous but simple ceremony in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Reports identified the bride as Asma, an Algerian who is based in the United Arab Emirates, where the couple met in school. The ceremony was a private one due to the global Pandemic as it saw just a few friends and family.

However, sources say they’re looking forward to a bigger wedding after the COVID-19 pandemic but it will be strictly private.
