A Ghanaian socialite by the name of Akuapem Poloo has declared that she has altered her behavior and is committed to following the course that she has charted for herself going forward.
Akuapem Poloo stated in an article for Graphic Showbiz that she has made a solemn vow to herself that she will never again twerk or promote products by dancing sensually, and that her new lifestyle ensures that she stays out of trouble.
Because of this, she does not get as many job offers as she used to, which is a change from the past. The following is what she said:
“For the previous five years, whatever I did or said made headlines in the community, but I’ve kept a low profile for a year now on purpose. No more twerking or showing off the body. That was in the past; the new me no longer behaves in that way
“I have been able to avoid difficulties, which is benefiting me greatly. I used to be paid by individuals to promote their songs or items for them, and I would twerk to promote whatever it was, but I’ve pledged never to do that again,”
