JHS student to stand trial in court for gathering his friends to beat his teacher who punished him.
A Nungua Kroma 2 JHS student was hurt by his instructor after he was punished for not doing his homework.
On April 29, the student will be arraigned before the Accra Juvenile Court ‘C’ to begin his trial.
The student was disciplined by the tutor, Mr Moses Onyameasem, for not completing his homework, according to the state prosecutor in charge of the investigation.
Following the punishment, the pupil ran home and gathered 15 friends, who came to the school with a Sprinter Bus to attack the teacher.
They stabbed him in the face, but luckily, the teacher’s colleagues saved him and hurried him to the LEKMA Hospital.
To add insult to injury, the student’s mother came to the school to insult the teacher.
On Monday, February 22, 2021, Mr Moses Onyameasem, accompanied by Mr Roger Asempa, the Head master, went to the police station to report the case.
