JHS 2 student invents electric incubator with local materials (photos)
Ernest Sampong, a Facebook user, has revealed a young student who has invented an incubator.
In an incubator, premature or exceptionally small babies are placed in enclosed equipment that provides a controlled and safe environment for their care.
According to the post, Samuel Asante, a form two (2) student at Nkwatia Methodist Junior High School (JHS) in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region, has developed an electric incubator out of local materials.
Mr. Sampong, who also happens to be the boy’s school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) chairman, wrote about the lad’s exploits:
“An electronic incubator created as a project by Samuel Asante of Nkwatia Methodist JHS. When given a lot of help, the young kid can accomplish a lot more.”
