Jackie Appiah cut the line on me when I called her to ask for money for my surgery – Veteran actress begs for help
Adwoa Pee, a veteran actress, has spoken out about a bad experience she had with popular actress Jackie Appiah.
Adwoa Pee revealed in a new video that she was admitted to Korle Bu Hospital for various ailments, including kidney stones.
The actress stated that she needed 6,000 cedis in addition to what she already had for the surgery, so she decided to seek assistance from her colleagues.
According to her, Jackie Appiah came to mind because they have a good relationship in which Jackie refers to her as her daughter and she refers to Jackie as her mama.
Adwoa Pee, who has been in and out of the hospital 41 times, said Jackie hung up on her when she told her she was in the hospital and needed 6,000 cedis.
She revealed that after she hung up, several calls to Jackie’s phone went unanswered, and it dawned on her that her daughter was not ready to support her.
According to Adwoa Pee, McBrown was sympathetic during their conversation but was unable to assist because she had spent so much money abroad for surgery and needed time to get her something.
McBrown’s words comforted Adwoa Pee, who wished Jackie had acted similarly.
Adwoa Pee stated that she followed up with a text message to Jackie’s phone, requesting Kalsoume Sinare’s phone number. Jackie, too, ignored it, she said.
The actress claims she was and continues to be deeply hurt by Jackie’s attitude, and that the pain she is experiencing is greater than that caused by her kidney stones.
She revealed that after her negative experience with Jackie Appiah, she decided to contact Nana Ama McBrown.
